Amelia Community Theatre
What: We’ll be taking a tour of the newly-constructed Amelia Community Theatre (ACT).
Our wonderful community theatre outgrew its tiny home, and now it is in a new larger building right beside the old one.
The first production opened in April.
ACT
managing director Linda McClane will take us around the new theatre, show us the new “bells and whistles”
and let us in on some behind-the-scene details of the new playhouse.
Also, Linda will have some very short scenes and ask for volunteers to come up on stage and read them.
(Don’t worry - we won’t pull anyone up who doesn’t want to volunteer!)
When: Wednesday, July 14
at 6:00 pm
Where: Meet at the
new playhouse
207 Cedar Street
downtown Fernandina Beach
RSVP: Afterwards,
we will have dinner at Bonito’s. We’ll be making dinner reservations in advance, so when you RSVP, please indicate
whether you ARE or ARE NOT joining us for dinner.
Please RSVP by Monday, July 12 to either Chair. Please indicate "YES" or "NO" for dinner AND Please include your phone number.
Hope you can
join us!
