Newcomers Club is blessed with an abundance of wonderful women….who
love to lunch. However, our luncheon venues typically hold 100 people and we are receiving an average of 130
requests for reservations per month!
To facilitate your reservation:
(1) Check your newsletter (electronic or paper) and mail a check QUICKLY.
Do not mail your check BEFORE the newsletters are delivered.
(2) Reservations are booked according to the postmark
on the envelope (not via phone call or email or the date on the check)
(3) The waiting list is also generated according to postmark. If more checks arrive on a day than there are spaces available, names will be selected randomly to fill
the list.
(4) Guests are VERY rarely going
to be accommodated because we accept reservations from members before guests.
(5) You will receive a phone call
if you are on the waiting list the weekend before the luncheon. . . not sooner , since many changes/cancellations can occur
up until the cutoff date. Don’t expect to hear before then.
(6) If you don’t get into a lunch, your check
will be shredded. They are not returned.
(7) If you can’t attend, PLEASE cancel by phone or email. There will probably be someone waiting
who will be happy to take your place.

© Write “luncheon” on the outside of the
envelope
© If you are new, or attending your first lunch,

Can You Help?
Newcomers is looking for a place to store decorations and
other items that belong to the Newcomers Club.
If you have extra space in a storage shed, your garage, or other facility
that you are willing to donate, please contact Martha Connell at 491-4886 or Martha'sEmail.

Magnetic Name Tags Still Available
Newcomer magnetic name tags are still available, although Nancy Fishburn will no longer
be doing a group order.
If you would like to order a name tag, please contact Ida at Mead's Framery
& Trophy Store, at 225-2195. The price to order an individual name tag is $8.50 plus tax. Mead's store is located
near the intersection of A1A and Highway 17.

Men’s Newcomers Club
A luncheon with a speaker is held every 3rd Thursday of the month. For
